That is not a developer-confirmed rate: in practical terms, you may need many kills, and no number of attempts guarantees a drop.
Where to get Vampire Fang
Vampire Fang drops from Vampire enemies in the cave at Graveyard Island in the Second Sea. The community-maintained enemy reference lists Vampires at level 975, with five enemies and a 20-second spawn time. See the Vampire reference and the Vampire Fang item page.
What an approximately 2% drop chance means
At a 2% chance per kill, the mathematical average is one fang per 50 kills over a large number of attempts. It is not a guarantee or a fixed schedule: each kill can fail, and a player might get a fang sooner or go substantially longer without one. The 2% figure is a rough community wiki estimate, not an official probability published by the game’s developers.
What Vampire Fang is used for
The item reference lists Vampire Fang as a material for Sanguine Art, Shark Rod, and weapon upgrades. One especially substantial goal is Sanguine Art: its current reference lists 20 Vampire Fangs among the required materials, along with a Leviathan Heart, Dark Fragments, Demonic Wisps, money, and fragments. Shafi at Tiki Outpost teaches the style once the requirements are met. See the Sanguine Art reference.

Do weapons or enchantments increase the drop rate?
The available item reference recommends lucky enchantments, but it does not establish a measured effect on Vampire Fang drops. The sources also do not verify that any weapon, enchantment, or other modifier increases the chance, so treat the approximately 2% estimate as unmodified rather than relying on a specific setup to improve it.

- Go to the cave at Graveyard Island in the Second Sea and defeat Vampires.
- Use the approximately 2% figure as a rough expectation, not a promise of one fang every 50 kills.
- If collecting for Sanguine Art, plan for 20 fangs as well as its other listed materials.
Because the drop rate comes from a community-maintained reference rather than an official drop table, the exact probability and any modifier effects remain unconfirmed.
