To keep a Roblox GUI consistent across screens, size it proportionally with UDim2.Scale, then use pixel-based constraints to stop it becoming too large or too small. Keep in mind that “the same size” can mean either the same share of the screen or roughly the same pixel dimensions; no single setting guarantees identical appearance on every phone, monitor, and TV.
Choose what “the same size” means
Roblox GUI objects use UDim2 for their Size. Each dimension has a Scale component and an Offset component. Scale is relative to the parent container; Offset adds a number of pixels. The two components are combined, so an object can use both proportional and pixel sizing. Roblox’s position and size guide explains the relationship.

Begin with Scale when an element should adapt with its container, but do not assume that a fixed percentage will look right at every screen size. Roblox recommends adapting UI to screen size and orientation rather than relying on one layout for every display. Adaptive design guidelines describe this approach.
Set a proportional size and practical bounds

For a panel or control that must stay within usable dimensions, add a
UISizeConstraintand choose its minimum and maximum sizes in pixels for your design. Roblox’s UISizeConstraint API reference documents those limits. There is no universal set of minimum and maximum values; a small icon, a dialog, and a touch control have different needs. -
If the object must retain a shape, add a
UIAspectRatioConstraint. Its aspect ratio defines width relative to height, helping prevent a square icon or fixed-ratio panel from stretching arbitrarily. See the Roblox size-constraint documentation.Rank #2

Use UIScale for a whole UI element, not as a responsiveness shortcut
A UIScale object multiplies the size of its parent UI element and its contents by one factor. This is useful when a whole composed element should grow or shrink together, but by itself it does not make a design responsive to every device. Pair it with a layout strategy that accounts for the available viewport. The UIScale API reference describes its effect.
Adapt layouts for different display categories
If small, medium, and large displays need materially different treatment, Roblox exposes GuiService.ViewportDisplaySize with Small, Medium, and Large categories. You can observe changes to the property and adjust layout or sizing accordingly. Use category-based changes when the layout genuinely needs a different treatment—not simply to chase identical pixel dimensions on every screen. Roblox’s cross-platform development guidance also frames UI as something to verify across screen sizes, orientations, and input types. A percentage-based element may take up too much space on a large display; constraints or a different layout can address that without abandoning proportional sizing everywhere.

Use
AutomaticSizewhere an object should size itself from its descendants, and check that the resulting layout remains intentional. -
Check text wrapping and consider
UITextSizeConstraintwhere text needs defined size limits. Make sure important controls remain visible and interactable, and are not hidden by screen cutouts or Roblox interface elements.

Verify the result on the devices you support
Test the experience at the display sizes and orientations you intend to support, including the relevant input modes. Look beyond whether the outer frame seems consistent: check proportions, text readability, clipping, control visibility, and whether controls remain usable. Adjust Scale, pixel bounds, aspect ratio, or display-category behavior based on what fails at the small and large ends.
