One player can fish in a bass boat in Fishing Planet. Its listed passenger capacity is 1; multiplayer “Fishing Together” is available on selected other vessels, not bass boats.
Bass boats carry one fishing player
The Fishing Planet Wiki’s bass-boat specifications list a passenger capacity of 1 for the boats covered, including Corvus, Orion and Sagitta. So you can’t bring a second angler aboard a bass boat for the same fishing session.
Fishing with friends requires a different vessel
The game’s version 5.0.0 update notes describe Fishing Together sessions on compatible boats for 2, 3 or 4 players, depending on the vessel. The notes specifically identify fishing yachts as compatible; these capacities should not be applied to bass boats.
Store descriptions use different figures for ocean yachts: Steam’s listing says they can accommodate 2–5 friends, while the Apple App Store listing says 2, 3 or 4. Those descriptions concern ocean yachts, not bass boats. If you want to fish alongside friends in one vessel, choose a compatible group-fishing boat and check its listed capacity.
