Riviera Riches ran in Monopoly GO from July 13 to July 15, 2024, and has ended. During the event, players earned points by landing on marked pickup tiles; the dice multiplier used for a roll multiplied the points awarded. Guides reported 43 milestones and 18,035 dice rolls across the reward track, though individual milestone entries differ by publisher.
When Riviera Riches ran
The solo banner event ran from July 13 to July 15, 2024. SuperCheats reported a start time of 11 a.m. ET on July 13 and an end time of 4 p.m. ET on July 15; GameLeap and Dexerto also described it as a two-day event beginning July 13. These are historical dates, not a current or upcoming schedule. SuperCheats, GameLeap, and Dexerto covered the run in 2024.
It overlapped with the Ice Cream Partners event. That is why Riviera Riches included partner tokens—called ice pops in SuperCheats’ guide—which were useful only to players who still needed progress in that concurrent event. SuperCheats described Riviera Riches as the last banner before Ice Cream Partners ended.
How points were earned
Pickup icons appeared on board tiles. Landing on a marked tile awarded Riviera Riches points. SuperCheats reported two base points per pickup, multiplied by the dice multiplier used for that roll. For example, a landing with a higher multiplier earned more event points than a landing with a lower multiplier, but also consumed more dice.

- Check the board before choosing a multiplier. Note how many spaces away the visible pickup tiles are and whether a roll at your current multiplier can plausibly reach one.
- Raise the multiplier selectively. GameLeap recommended increasing it when pickups were roughly five to nine spaces away. Dexerto gave a broader five-to-ten-tile rule of thumb. These were publisher recommendations, not a verified optimal strategy.
- Use a low multiplier when no pickup is nearby. GameLeap suggested staying at x1 when there were no pickups within 12 spaces. Treat that as a historical guide’s rule of thumb, not a guarantee about outcomes.
- Weigh the partner tokens against your remaining event needs. A higher multiplier could help collect Riviera Riches points faster, but the tokens had practical value only while Ice Cream Partners was still active and you needed them.
Because a larger multiplier spends more dice per roll, it does not guarantee a net dice gain. The guides’ multiplier advice is a way to target pickups, not evidence that any particular strategy would earn back the dice spent.
What the reward track contained
GameLeap, SuperCheats, and Dexerto reported 43 milestones, with 18,035 dice rolls available across the full track. The last milestone was reported to award 6,500 dice. SuperCheats reported 5,750 partner tokens in total. The track also included cash, sticker packs of several star levels, and timed boosts such as High Roller, Mega Heist, and Cash Boost. These are figures and rewards reported by third-party guides in 2024, not totals confirmed by an official Scopely reward archive.

Why milestone-by-milestone figures need caution
The published guides do not agree on every milestone. For example, GameLeap listed milestone 8 at 140 points for 150 dice, while Dexerto listed it at 180 points for 180 dice. At milestone 31, GameLeap listed 500 partner tokens and Dexerto listed 600. The overall dice total is reported as 18,035 by GameLeap and SuperCheats, but disagreements in individual entries make a single definitive milestone table inappropriate without clearly attributing it to a publisher.
