Feebas is a Mega Dimension DLC encounter, not a Pokémon to look for in the base game’s ordinary wild zones. With the expansion, search Water-type Hyperspace Wild Zone Distortions rated two stars or higher; then evolve Feebas by trading it while it holds a Prism Scale. The location, quest, and evolution details are reported by GamesRadar’s Feebas guide.
Where to find Feebas
First, make sure you have access to the Mega Dimension expansion. GamesRadar reports that Feebas is specific to the DLC, so searching the base game’s regular Wild Zones will not produce this encounter.
With the expansion available, look for a Water-type Hyperspace Wild Zone Distortion rated two stars or higher. Feebas is a rare spawn, not a guaranteed encounter in every eligible distortion.
Repeat the map check
- Open the map and inspect the available Hyperspace Wild Zone Distortions.
- Enter an eligible Water-type distortion with a rating of at least two stars, and look for Feebas among its Pokémon.
- If you do not find one, return to the city and rest at a bench to advance time, then check the map again for another opportunity.
GamesRadar recommends high-calorie donuts to give you more time inside a distortion to catch Pokémon. Nintendo confirms that resting at benches advances time, but its general gameplay advice does not independently confirm that resting refreshes Feebas spawns; that repeat-check loop is the guide’s recommendation. How to get a Prism Scale
GamesRadar reports that Side Mission 160, “Feebas’s New Friends,” rewards a Prism Scale. Find Soucian by the unnamed pond left of Wild Zone 2 (Vert Plaza), then give him a Feebas to complete the request.
The Feebas you hand over is not retained, according to the guide. Catch a separate one if you want to evolve Feebas into Milotic.

- Give the Feebas you want to evolve the Prism Scale to hold.
- Trade it with another player while it is holding the item. The reported Z-A method is a trade evolution; do not rely on the Beauty-stat method from older Pokémon games.

If Feebas or Milotic is not appearing
- No Feebas in the wild? Confirm that you have the Mega Dimension expansion and are checking a Water-type distortion rated two stars or higher.
- No eligible distortion available? Rest at a bench to advance time, then inspect the map again. Feebas is reported as rare, so an eligible distortion is not a guarantee.
- Trade did not evolve Feebas? Check that Feebas was holding the Prism Scale when the trade took place.
