Craft an Energy Activator by submitting a Research Request to Anais in Albion. To use one, open the intended Descendant’s or weapon’s Module Settings and choose Module Additional Settings > Increase Max Capacity. Nexon’s guide says this upgrade can be applied once to each Descendant and weapon; check Anais’s live Research screen for the current recipe, cost, and research time.
What an Energy Activator does
An Energy Activator increases the maximum capacity available for Modules on a Descendant or weapon. That gives you more room to equip Modules; it does not directly raise a character’s level or a weapon’s damage. Nexon’s detailed Module System guide says Max Capacity can be increased once for each Descendant and weapon. The guide was published on September 6, 2023 and is explicitly based on the Crossplay Open Beta, so use it for the general function and menu flow, not as confirmation that every live-game detail remains unchanged.
How to craft an Energy Activator
- Go to Anais in Albion and open Research Requests.
- Find and select the Energy Activator request in the current Research interface.
- Review the listed materials, currency cost, and research duration before starting the request. The interface also shows material sources.
- If you lack a material, check its current source through the Research interface or the game’s Access Info. Acquisition methods and event rewards can change, so use the live listings rather than relying on an old farming route.
Nexon’s Research Requests guide explains that Anais handles research and that the interface displays requirements and material sources. The official sources cited here do not establish a current Energy Activator-specific recipe, so treat the values shown in Anais’s live listing as authoritative for your game version.
How to use an Energy Activator
- Open Module Settings for the Descendant or weapon you want to upgrade.
- Select Module Additional Settings.
- Choose Increase Max Capacity and confirm the upgrade.
Choose the target carefully: Nexon’s guide describes the increase as a one-time upgrade for each individual Descendant and weapon. Its guide’s menu wording comes from the Crossplay Open Beta, so confirm the exact labels in the current interface if they have changed.

What to know about recipes, capacity values, and farming claims
An unofficial community reference lists a recipe of 55 Low-Carbon Activators, 25 Conductive Metallic Foil, 55 Heat Plasma Batteries, 72 Polyatomic Ion Particles, one Energy Activator Blueprint, 750,000 gold, and 30 hours of research. It also reports capacity increases of 20 for Descendants and 30 for weapons. Those figures are not confirmed by the official materials cited here; check Anais’s Research screen and the in-game upgrade display before relying on them.
Nexon’s May 21, 2026 Update 1.3.28 notes discuss changes to research-material acquisition and special-order quests that awarded secondary materials and cores for Energy Activator Research. The listed event schedules ended in June 2026, so they are historical context, not current farming instructions. No official blueprint drop percentage is established in the sources cited here. To see current blueprint sources and probabilities, consult Access Info in game rather than an older third-party guide.
