To get the initial Arata-Proto in GHOUL://RE, join the CCG, reach Special Class Investigator rank and at least 25,000 Reputation, then hand five One-Eyed Kakuja Fragments to Damir D. Mado at the CCG base. You will need 10 One-Eyed Fragments, 10 Kakuja Fragments, and 50 each of Bikaku, Ukaku, Koukaku, and Rinkaku Fragments to make those five finished items.
Requirements for the initial Arata-Proto
- Be a CCG member with Special Class Investigator rank.
- Have at least 25,000 Reputation.
- Craft and deliver five One-Eyed Kakuja Fragments to Damir D. Mado at the CCG base.
These requirements apply to the initial Arata-Proto, also called Stage 1 in guides. They are not the requirements for later Arata stages or ProtoII. Pro Game Guides lists the rank and crafting requirements in its GHOUL RE CCG Arata & Kakuja Requirements Guide (updated February 23, 2026); Destructoid also identifies the Stage 1 rank and Reputation requirements in its Complete Arata Guide (updated April 10, 2025).

Collect the materials before crafting
Each One-Eyed Kakuja Fragment requires two One-Eyed Fragments and two Kakuja Fragments. Each Kakuja Fragment, in turn, requires five fragments of each basic type. Multiply those recipes by five before you start collecting:
| Material | Total for five One-Eyed Kakuja Fragments |
|---|---|
| One-Eyed Fragments | 10 |
| Kakuja Fragments | 10 |
| Bikaku Fragments | 50 |
| Ukaku Fragments | 50 |
| Koukaku Fragments | 50 |
| Rinkaku Fragments | 50 |
The recipes are reported by Pro Game Guides and Destructoid, and are corroborated by Pro Game Guides’ Quinque progression guide.

How to make and turn in the fragments
- Reach the required rank and Reputation. Progress through the CCG ranks to Special Class Investigator and earn at least 25,000 Reputation. Missions, events, raids, and defeating Ghouls or bosses are among the activities guides identify as Reputation sources. Destructoid names Saiyo Natsuki at CCG headquarters as a place to check Reputation.
- Gather the four basic fragment types. Collect 50 each of Bikaku, Ukaku, Koukaku, and Rinkaku Fragments. Guides list missions and loot from defeated players or bosses as sources; the Quinque guide also mentions loot boxes.
- Craft 10 Kakuja Fragments. At the CCG base crafting bench, combine five of each basic fragment type for each Kakuja Fragment.
- Obtain 10 One-Eyed Fragments. The Eto raid is the consistently named source in the guides. Destructoid also lists Tatara, but that drop source is not consistently corroborated; check the current in-game drop information before planning around it.
- Make five One-Eyed Kakuja Fragments. Bring two One-Eyed Fragments and two Kakuja Fragments per item to Damir D. Mado. Guides place him on the upper or second floor of the CCG base.
- Hand over all five to Damir. Speak to him again at the CCG base to receive the initial Arata-Proto. If you need help finding him, Destructoid says the CCG receptionist can direct you to him; the guide notes that the construction-site NPC rumor is false.
Where to craft and find Damir
Use the crafting bench in the CCG base for Kakuja Fragments. The Quinque progression guide places the bench in the CCG laboratory, accessible through the building’s elevator. Damir D. Mado handles the One-Eyed Kakuja Fragment exchanges and the final Arata-Proto hand-in; the guides place him upstairs in the base.

The reviewed third-party guides agree on Eto as a raid source for One-Eyed Fragments, while only Destructoid also names Tatara. No official current drop table is established by these sources, so verify the live source in game rather than relying on Tatara as a guaranteed alternative.

Do not confuse this recipe with ProtoII. Item Level Gaming describes ProtoII as requiring Proto V1 and Ward 11 access; see its Arata ProtoII guide for that separate progression.
