Meet Archmage Ryngrim during the main quest Face Your Fears. After completing A Path to the Garden, speak with Yatzli outside the tavern in Thirdborn, then take her to Ryngrim’s Domain in Shark’s Teeth, Shatterscarp. Restore the broken statue there to reach Ryngrim’s tower.
When and where to start
Face Your Fears follows the main quest A Path to the Garden. Once the quest is available, find Yatzli outside the tavern in Thirdborn and speak with her to begin the journey. How to reach Ryngrim’s Domain
Travel with Yatzli to Ryngrim’s Domain in Shark’s Teeth, in the Shatterscarp region. The quest journal points northeast in Shark’s Teeth near the Pargrunen ruins; unusual ice and snow indicate that you are close. Keep Yatzli with you: the journal says she is needed to navigate the domain and dispel the barrier at its entrance.
How to get from the domain to Ryngrim
- Enter the domain with Yatzli. She can dispel the entrance barrier and help you proceed through the area.
- Restore the broken statue. Find and return its three missing pieces: the hand, head, and heart.
- Touch the restored statue. It takes you to Ryngrim’s tower.
- Defeat the skeletons. After Ryngrim summons them, defeat them and speak with her to complete the meeting.
The quest-journal wording reproduced by the Face Your Fears wiki entry gives the direct starting cue: “Once you’re ready to meet the archmage Ryngrim, speak to Yatzli outside the tavern in Thirdborn.”
