Rabbath’s Cannon is in a chest at the top of Rabbath’s Rise in eastern Scadu Altus. In the tower’s library, break the illusory wall on the southwest side to reveal a sealed Spiritspring; unseal it, then use Torrent outside to jump up to the chest.
Where to find Rabbath’s Cannon
Rabbath’s Rise is in eastern Scadu Altus, near the Cathedral of Manus Metyr. The cannon is in a chest at the top of the tower, in its study.
How to reach the chest
- Enter Rabbath’s Rise and climb to the library. Look along the southwest side of the library for an illusory wall.
- Strike the illusory wall. It disappears and reveals a sealed Spiritspring on a balcony.
- Go outside and unseal the Spiritspring. The newly revealed spring is the route up the tower.
- Use Torrent to ride the Spiritspring upward. It carries you to the upper part of Rabbath’s Rise.
- Open the chest in the study to collect Rabbath’s Cannon.
An alternate location reference describes reaching the study by descending from cliffs southeast of Shaman Village. The route through the illusory wall and Spiritspring above gives a direct way to reach the chest.
What Rabbath’s Cannon does
Rabbath’s Cannon is a Ballista weapon. Game8 lists its weight as 15.0 and its attribute requirements as 28 Strength and 16 Dexterity. Its in-game description reads: “A type of jar cannon used to fire greatbolts. A masterwork of Spellmachinist Rabbath. The power of the glintstones that encircle the barrel imbues bolts with magic damage and guides shots toward their targets.”

What you need to access it
The item-location guide describes finding the cannon through exploration and opening a chest; it does not identify a named quest or boss as a requirement. Shadow of the Erdtree requires the Elden Ring base game, as stated on Bandai Namco’s official expansion page.
