Fish at Mushgrove Swamp to catch Resin in Fisch. It is a Secret fish, and the Bestiary lists its bait and conditions as “Any,” so no specific bait, weather, season, or time is required.
Where do you catch Resin?
Go to Mushgrove Swamp and fish there. Both the Fisch Wiki’s Resin page and the Bestiary list Mushgrove Swamp as its location.
What bait and conditions does Resin require?
The Bestiary lists Resin’s bait and conditions as “Any,” and the Resin page lists no preferred bait. You can fish at any time and in any weather or season; there is no special condition to wait for.
How can you improve your chances?
Use luck boosts
The community Fisch Wiki reports a base catch chance of 0.028% (1 in 3,751) and recommends stacking available luck boosts. It specifically recommends Weird Algae for its high universal luck. These are wiki-reported game mechanics, not results from an independently documented statistical test. The wiki also reports that Aurora Borealis changes the chance to 1 in 300; treat that as a reported game mechanic, not a guarantee of a catch.

Know what the Kraken Rod effect does
The wiki says the Kraken Rod has a 10% chance to double a caught fish. That could yield an extra Resin after a successful catch, but it does not guarantee that Resin will be doubled. The wiki’s chance figures and rod effect were listed on its Resin page, updated September 25, 2026.
What is Resin used for?
You need three Resin to craft a Water Bubble with the Bubble Mermaid NPC, according to the Resin page.
