Bastion Remnant loot chests can contain Netherite ingots, but finding one is possible—not guaranteed in every Bastion or chest. You can also craft an ingot from Netherite scraps and gold ingots.
What Netherite loot can a Bastion contain?
Mojang says Netherite ingots can appear in Bastion Remnant loot chests. Its May 28, 2020 article about Netherite ingots describes them as possible chest loot, not a guaranteed reward.
The Bedrock stable reference for the Bastion treasure chest lists Netherite ingots, Netherite scraps, and ancient debris among its entries. That reference, last updated September 7, 2023, applies to that specific Bedrock treasure loot table; it does not establish equal odds for every chest type or for Java Edition. See the Bedrock Edition bastion_treasure loot-table reference.
Is Netherite guaranteed in a Bastion?
No. The available sources establish that these items can appear in loot, not that every Bastion has them or that every chest contains them. There is no verified cross-edition percentage here, so a single odds figure would be misleading. Odds depend on the edition, game version, and chest type; the Bedrock treasure-table entries alone do not establish Java odds or probabilities for other Bastion chests.

How to make a Netherite ingot if you do not find one
Mojang says one Netherite ingot can be crafted from four Netherite scraps and four gold ingots. Scraps can come from Bastion treasure loot, according to the Bedrock treasure table, or from processing ancient debris. To upgrade diamond equipment, use the ingot with a smithing table.
What to expect when exploring a Bastion
A Bastion is a hostile structure, not a safe loot stop. A Minecraft Wiki tutorial identifies piglins and piglin brutes as threats and recommends diamond armor while noting that it is optional. This is secondary guidance, so check current in-game behavior for your edition and version rather than treating it as a version-specific combat rule. Plan for hostile encounters before searching chests.
