This is a guide-reported route, not a confirmed official walkthrough; exact day counts and some requirements are disputed.
How to get The Child of Doom ending
- Let the Seductive Woman stay. When she arrives, accept her into the house rather than turning her away. Unofficial walkthroughs identify this as the start of the route. Gamepur’s guide, the community wiki, and TheGamer’s guide all describe accepting her and responding kindly.
- Choose sympathetic responses. During conversations, use kind, supportive, or otherwise non-confrontational dialogue choices. The guides do not establish a complete list of required lines, so prioritize the general supportive approach rather than relying on a specific quoted response.
- Continue after her death. The route does not end when she dies. Keep playing and investigate the house for the fetus. The wiki specifically points to interacting with the bedroom curtains and searching the house; guides also describe finding the fetus inside. The community wiki’s route notes and Gamepur’s walkthrough cover this search.
- Complete the later scene and use the peephole. The guides describe a subsequent scene involving the fetus and dog milk, then a peephole interaction that triggers the ending. Keep progressing through the events and check the peephole when the sequence allows it. The community wiki and Gamepur report these steps.
When does the ending happen?
There is no dependable day-by-day schedule established by the available guides. One guide says the woman may appear between Days 4 and 9 and identifies Day 13 as an ending trigger; the community wiki instead describes her death as occurring on the fourth day after her arrival, followed by the search and later sequence. Those claims may reflect different ways of counting days or may be inaccurate. Treat the sequence of events—not a promised calendar date—as the useful guide.
What if the ending does not trigger?
- Check the house again. Make sure you have searched for the fetus, including interacting with the bedroom curtains as described by the community wiki.
- Continue the post-death events. The route includes a later scene and the peephole interaction; finding the fetus alone may not complete it.
- Do not assume Visitor status is required. Community players disagree about whether the Seductive Woman must be a Visitor for this ending. Available reports do not settle the requirement. Steam Community discussion reports are anecdotal, not authoritative confirmation.
- Be cautious about saving during the route. A Steam Community post reports that saving can interfere with progress, but this is an unverified player report rather than a confirmed mechanic. If you are concerned, keep a separate save before pursuing the route rather than overwriting it.
How reliable are these steps?
The route is documented by unofficial walkthroughs, a community wiki, and player discussion—not by an official walkthrough or verified current-build patch note. The sources converge on accepting the woman, choosing kind dialogue, searching for the fetus, and completing the later scene and peephole interaction. They are less consistent about timing and edge cases, so a missed calendar date or uncertain Visitor status should not be treated as proof that the route is impossible.
