Use a Bandage to heal yourself or revive a downed teammate in Dead Rails. For a teammate, hold the Bandage and interact with them; the community-maintained wiki reports a three-second interaction that restores them to full health. The Doctor class offers another way to revive a teammate without a Bandage, at a health cost to the Doctor.
Use a Bandage to heal yourself

Select a Bandage from your inventory.

Hold the use button until the healing action completes. The community-maintained Dead Rails Bandage wiki page reports that self-healing takes four seconds and restores 35 HP.
Bandages are described as single-use items. The wiki reports that they can be bought at Doctor’s Offices in Safe Zones for $10, found in locations such as abandoned Doctor’s Offices, or crafted from two Linen. These acquisition details, including the price and recipe, may change with game updates, so check the current in-game options.

Keep the interaction active until it finishes. The community-maintained Bandage wiki page reports a three-second revive that brings the teammate back at full health.
The wiki documents the interaction, but does not establish one universal key for every device. A MineBlox tutorial published March 12, 2025 describes using E; treat that as tutorial-specific rather than a confirmed control across platforms. Follow the prompt shown in your game.

Revive without a Bandage as the Doctor
The Doctor class is an alternative team-revival method. The community-maintained Doctor wiki page says a Doctor can revive another player without using a Bandage by sacrificing half of the Doctor’s current health. The same page reports that Doctors start with two Bandages and two Snake Oils. Check the live class screen for current class availability and cost, since those details can change.

What if the normal revive is not an option?
Dead Rails also has self, team, and cemetery Revive options as in-game purchases, according to the community-maintained Revive wiki page. These are separate from the ordinary Bandage method; a purchase is not required to use the documented Bandage or Doctor revival routes. The game’s official Roblox listing identifies it as a Gangster Studios zombie-survival game set on a train journey through a zombie-infested desert.
