Use a Charged Attack whose type is super effective against the Pokémon you are battling. Fast Attacks build the energy needed to use it; repeat until five qualifying Charged Attacks register. This was a task in step 2 of Pokémon GO’s Fashion Week 2021 Timed Research, available September 21–28, 2021, so it is not currently active unless Niantic reissues it.
How to complete the task

Check the opposing Pokémon’s type or types. Choose a Pokémon with a Charged Attack that targets a weakness. Against a dual-type opponent, a move effective against both types can be especially strong. See Niantic’s type effectiveness guide.

Start a battle and use Fast Attacks to build Charged Attack energy. Energy requirements can vary between Trainer Battles and Gym or Raid battles, so follow the energy meter and task counter in the battle mode available to you. Niantic explains the attack and energy mechanics in its Fast Attacks and Charged Attacks guide.

When the Charged Attack is ready, use it and look for the “super effective” prompt. The prompt is the in-game sign that the attack’s type is strong against the opponent. Niantic recommends practicing against team leaders or Team GO Rocket Grunts before Trainer Battles; its Trainer Battle guide covers that option.

Repeat until the counter records five super effective Charged Attacks. The task is about attack effectiveness; the cited guidance does not require the move to knock out the opponent.
What counts as supereffective?
Effectiveness depends on the Charged Attack’s type and the defender’s type, not simply on how much damage the move deals. Pokémon GO signals strong and weak attacks with prompts on screen. For dual-type Pokémon, a move that exploits both types can be particularly effective.

“Use 5 Supereffective Charged Attacks” appeared in step 2 of the five-step Fashion Week 2021 Timed Research, which listed a Mareep encounter as that step’s reward. Serebii’s Fashion Week listing records the task and reward. The event research ran September 21–28, 2021, according to Bulbapedia’s Timed Research history.

If more than one move can exploit the opponent’s weakness, consider how quickly each charges as well as its power. Niantic notes that Charged Attacks have different energy requirements and describes balancing moves that can be used frequently with slower, more powerful attacks in its attack guide. The battle prompt and the research counter are the practical checks for this task.
