How storage circuits work
A circuit is a routing label shared by storage containers and crafting stations. A station’s input circuit identifies the route it draws resources from; its output circuit identifies the route where it sends completed items. Containers can be assigned to those routes, letting you connect particular storage to particular production workflows. The Dune: Awakening Community Wiki’s Storage Circuits guide describes this system, and Funcom’s official announcement confirms that base storage is accessible through the base’s circuits system.

Containers and crafting stations are reported to default to circuit 1. If you leave them there, they share a common resource route without requiring a custom layout.
Set up a production line
- Choose the input container. Put the raw materials you want a station to use in storage assigned to the circuit you plan to use for its input.
- Set the station’s input circuit. Configure the station to use the same circuit as that container.
- Choose the output container. Assign the container for finished goods to the circuit you want the station to use for its output.
- Set the station’s output circuit. Match it to the finished-goods container’s circuit. Input and output can be different, so raw materials and products need not use the same route.
For example, a spice refinery can draw spice sand from a dedicated input route and send refined melange to a separate output route. The example and the separation of input and output routing are described in the community wiki.

Choose a layout that fits your base

There is no single numbered layout established by the available guides. Make base materials available to construction
If the construction tool cannot access materials stored at the base, check the sub-fief console’s input circuit. The community wiki reports that the construction tool accesses resources on the circuit selected there. Materials assigned to other routes may therefore be out of reach for construction; align the console’s input circuit with the storage route containing the materials you need.

When to change circuits
- Keep the shared default when you want a simple base and do not need to isolate production.
- Separate routes when you want particular refineries or fabricators to use dedicated inputs or store outputs apart from other materials.
- Check the sub-fief console input circuit when stored materials are unavailable to the construction tool.
Exact interface labels can change between game builds, so confirm the current wording in-game when configuring a station or console.
