Press F8 during play to open ULTRAKILL’s debug console. Enter help and press Enter to see commands available in your game; use help <command> to get information about a specific command.
Open the F8 console and run a command

While playing, press F8 to open the debug console.

Type
helpand press Enter to display executable commands. To look up one command, enterhelp <command>, replacing the bracketed text with its name. -
Type a listed command and press Enter to run it. The up and down arrow keys recall commands you entered earlier; press Enter to run the selected entry.
The console also has log filtering and a clear function. For scrolling through console output, the wiki documents Home and End; it cautions that Page Up and Page Down reportedly do not work as expected. See the Official ULTRAKILL Wiki console guide.

Examples of documented console commands

Prefs commands read or change stored preferences. Check
helpin your own game for the available commands and syntax.
The F8 interface is a debug console used for functions including viewing game logs and working with AssetBundles, Scenes, and Prefs. Some commands require cheats. The command list can vary by game build, and the wiki’s command documentation does not identify a build or dated revision, so the in-game help output is the best check for what your installation supports.
Enable the cheat menu instead
The cheat menu is separate from the F8 debug console: use it to change gameplay options, not to enter console commands. Outside Sandbox, enable it by entering the Konami-style sequence while in a level:
↑ ↑ ↓ ↓ ← → ← → B A
You can also enter the sequence in the entrance elevator before starting a level. Then press ~ or Home to toggle the cheat menu. In Sandbox, cheats are enabled by default. See the Official ULTRAKILL Wiki cheats guide.

What enabling cheats changes
The game’s warning says: “Enabling cheats means you will not gain a rank upon completion of a level and a Cyber Grind high score will not be saved.” According to the wiki, cheats can only be disabled by quitting or restarting the mission. Some cheats are Sandbox-only; cheats marked Debug are described as requiring external tools.
