Use a Simple Key on the locked stone door in the cave at the far east end of Dirtmouth, beyond the graveyard. The door leads to Confessor Jiji’s chamber. The key is consumed when used, so make sure you want to spend one on this lock.
Where to find Jiji’s locked door
- Start in Dirtmouth and head east, past the graveyard.
- Continue to the locked cave at the far end of the settlement.
- Use a Simple Key on the stone door to enter.
How to get a Simple Key
There are four listed Simple Keys in the game. You can buy one from Sly in Dirtmouth for 950 Geo, or find the others in these locations:
- In the City of Tears, south of City Storerooms.
- On a Royal Retainer’s corpse inside a Mawlurk in Ancient Basin.
- As a reward for defeating the Pale Lurker.
Simple Keys are single-use. Other simple locks also require them, so opening Jiji’s door means that key is no longer available for another lock.
What Jiji does
Give Jiji a Rancid Egg to ask her to summon your Shade. You must still defeat the Shade yourself; doing so recovers your lost Geo and restores your SOUL meter.
