Spoilers: To light all four blue braziers in Blue Prince, turn the gas valves in the Orchard, Gemstone Cavern, Hovel, and Schoolhouse. The braziers are down the stairs to the left of the Fountain on the Grounds; after all four valves are turned, an elevator appears at the brazier platform.
Find the four blue braziers
- Leave the Entrance Hall and go out to the Grounds.
- Pass the Fountain on its left side and descend the stairs. The four blue braziers are together at the bottom.
Turn the four gas valves
Orchard
Get the Orchard gate code from the Darkroom and open the gate. The valve is immediately to your left as you enter. One walkthrough gives the code as 1128 and says it can be found by examining an apple-tree photograph with a magnifying glass; that specific code-and-clue detail is reported by a single guide.

Gemstone Cavern
Solve the Utility Closet access puzzle to reach the Gemstone Cavern. The valve is just inside the cavern on the right.
Hovel
Open access to the West Gate/West Path through the Garage. Use the Outer Room door to draft the Hovel; its valve is beside the fireplace or stove.

Schoolhouse
With West Gate/West Path access open, draft the Schoolhouse as an Outer Room. Its valve is behind the heater in the center of the room. One guide notes that only one Outer Room can be drafted per day, so reaching both the Hovel and Schoolhouse valves may require multiple days.

Once all four valves are on, an elevator appears at the brazier landing, and the brazier flames persist across later runs. Guides disagree about the elevator destination’s name: Patch Crazy and Best Light Options call it the Basement, while Gameranx calls it the Precipice and describes an underground area. The available walkthroughs do not establish whether those labels refer to the same place. Patch Crazy and Best Light Options also say a Basement Key is needed to make Basement access useful.
