You can turn vibration on for supported gameplay, but the available Xbox guidance does not confirm a built-in way to make a controller vibrate nonstop outside game events. Start by checking the vibration option in the game you are playing. For controller or app settings, use Xbox Support’s instructions for your platform and controller model rather than relying on an unverified menu path.
What “continuously” can mean
If you mean that your controller should vibrate whenever a game triggers vibration, check that vibration is enabled in that game and in any applicable controller profile settings. If you mean nonstop vibration regardless of what is happening in a game, the available Xbox support information does not establish that Xbox provides a setting for this.

The guide identified in Xbox Support’s search results is titled “Change controller vibration on Xbox One and Windows 10”; that title alone does not establish current instructions for newer consoles or Windows versions.
- If relevant to your controller, consult Xbox Support’s “Customize your wireless controller with the Accessories app” guidance. Do not assume that app can make the controller vibrate continuously.
- Test vibration in another game that supports it. If it remains absent, consult Xbox’s current troubleshooting guidance for your device. A replacement Xbox Wireless Controller is only a possible option if the existing controller has a hardware fault; changing settings does not require buying one.
What to expect
Turning vibration on can restore feedback when a supported game calls for it; it does not necessarily cause uninterrupted vibration. Exact instructions depend on the game, platform, and controller model, so use current Xbox Support guidance for your setup rather than applying an assumed universal toggle.
