Which ratings and fields you can change depends on the player.
How to open Edit Player in Dynasty
- Load the Dynasty save you want to change.
- Open the Team tab and select View Roster.
- Highlight a player and open the player card by pressing Triangle on PS5 or Y on Xbox.
- Move to More and select Edit Player.
- Check which fields are available for that player, make the changes the editor permits, and confirm them in the game.
Operation Sports reported that players on other teams could also be selected from the roster view, subject to the same player-specific restrictions. That report also said edits were confined to the Dynasty save and that roster sharing was not available at the time; those are September 2024 details, not a guarantee of behavior in every later update or configuration. Why some ratings or fields may be locked
Editing access is not uniform across the roster. Operation Sports quoted a College Football 25 patch note stating, “Enabled the ability to edit ratings for non NIL players and recruits.” Its September 2024 report says non-NIL players and recruits gained rating editing, while NIL players had narrower options. The patch note does not establish exactly which individual attributes are editable for every player today, so use the fields shown in your own editor as the authority for your save and game version.
Dynasty editing is different from other customization modes

Do not apply College Football 26 features to College Football 25
EA’s College Football 26 Dynasty and Team Builder article describes editing features for that later edition. It is not evidence that the same tools are available in College Football 25. For the College Football 25 editor, follow the Dynasty roster path above and rely on the controls and fields shown in your game.
