Jack in the Box’s “Jack’s CEO Minigames” was a branded Fortnite experience announced on April 17, 2025. Players competed in short minigames, earned XP, and climbed a fictional company ladder from Intern to CEO. The announcement was a 2025 launch campaign—not a new 2026 reveal—and the available information does not establish whether the experience is still playable.
What was Jack’s CEO Minigames?
Jack in the Box said its mascot, Jack Box, would host the Fortnite experience, which reworked familiar map formats into branded environments featuring oversized Munchie Meal items. The company said up to 12 players could compete at once. Its announcement described the experience’s format and features, but does not establish how they played in practice.

The unusual premise behind the “fake CEOs” headline was a rank-progression system: players advanced through fictional corporate titles by competing, rather than managing a real business.
How did players reach CEO?
- Play the rounds. The company described a battle-royale format featuring seven minigames selected at random.
- Earn XP. Players received XP based on their performance.
- Advance through the ranks. The listed progression was Intern, Manager, Director, VP, and CEO.
- Vote between rounds. Players returned to a lobby between games and voted on which minigame to play next.
These are the mechanics as described in Jack in the Box’s announcement; they are not a report of hands-on gameplay.

What did the launch promotion offer?
Jack in the Box tied two promotions to the launch. They were announced as 2025 campaign terms, not as offers available now.
Jack-head wearable
The company said customers could unlock a secret Jack-head wearable for their Fortnite character by buying a Munchie Meal with a Coca-Cola beverage through the Jack App.

CEO contest and stated prize value
To enter the announced contest, players had to reach CEO, take a screenshot, post it on the Jack in the Box X account with #FreeJack, download the app, and become a Jack Pack member. Jack in the Box said it would select one winner at random on the last day of the launch month.
The company valued the prize at $1,825, describing it as a gift card equivalent to one Jumbo Jack per day for 365 days, based on a $5 menu price. That was Jack in the Box Inc.’s stated valuation in 2025, not a current menu price or an active prize offer.

Was this a new 2026 Fortnite announcement?
No. Jack in the Box announced Jack’s CEO Minigames on April 17, 2025. BetaNews published the matching “bizarre Fortnite experience” headline on April 19, 2025. The headline referred to that 2025 campaign, not a new announcement in 2026.
How was Jack Zone Wars different?
Jack Zone Wars was a separate Fortnite campaign, announced by Jack in the Box on May 29, 2025, in partnership with T-Pain. The company’s announcement said it followed the earlier debut of Jack’s CEO Minigames; it did not describe the two as the same experience.

In announcing the later collaboration, Jack in the Box Chief Customer and Digital Officer Ryan Ostrom said the Munchie Meal brought together the brand’s food, gaming, and music elements for fans seeking a late-night option.

The published announcements establish what Jack in the Box launched and promoted in 2025, but do not confirm whether Jack’s CEO Minigames remains playable today. They also do not establish that the wearable, contest, or meal-linked promotion is still available.
