Items in Lies of P include far more than weapons: the category spans combat equipment, upgrades, consumables, progression keys, documents, records, costumes, and collectibles. Ordinary weapons are assembled from a blade and a handle, while special weapons have different restrictions. This guide explains the main item groups and what to check when using an item list; it does not claim to be a complete inventory or a location-by-location walkthrough.
What counts as an item in Lies of P?
The broad Items category covers objects with different roles in combat, character progression, exploration, and collection. A category index is useful for finding a type of object, but it is not the same as a verified list of every item, effect, or pickup location.

How weapon blades and handles work
Ordinary weapons use two parts: a blade and a handle. Those parts can be assembled in different combinations, so a blade listing and a handle listing may describe components rather than separate, ready-to-use weapons. The game’s weapon reference distinguishes these normal weapons from special weapons.
Compare the parts before assembling
- Blade: Consider its damage contribution and reach.
- Handle: Consider its attack behavior and the Fable Arts available to the assembled weapon.
- Combination: Check how the chosen parts work together rather than judging a weapon by its blade alone.
Special weapons
Special weapons are obtained through boss-Ergo exchanges and cannot be disassembled, unlike ordinary blade-and-handle weapons. Treat them as a separate weapon type when comparing entries or planning an assembly.

Equipment beyond weapons
Legion Arms, amulets, defense parts, and Wishstones are separate equipment groups in the item references. To choose among them, use the current in-game descriptions and compare the effect that matters to your build with any load or equipment-slot trade-off the game displays. The category references establish the groupings, not a verified effect or weight value for every individual item.
Consumables, keys, records, and collectibles
Consumables, key items, special items, records, costumes, documents, and other collectibles appear in the broader item taxonomy. These labels help narrow a search, but they do not substitute for checking an individual item’s description or its acquisition requirements. In particular, a category page should not be treated as proof of a specific item’s location, quest condition, or effect unless that entry has been checked directly.

Which version and DLC does an item list cover?
Item lists can differ in scope. The community item-ID compendium states that its IDs and commands were tested with game version 1.8.0.0, with Overture DLC and Bonus Content installed. That is a version-specific reference, not a guarantee that the same list describes every later patch or a base-game-only installation.
The compendium separately indexes equipment, weapons and upgrades, Legion Arms, grindstones, amulets, defense parts, Wishstones, key items, special items, consumables, shops and currency, Ergo, records, costumes, and collectibles. It also represents ordinary weapon blades and handles separately. Use it as a taxonomy and item-ID reference within its stated test context, and check current in-game text for details that matter to a particular playthrough.

How to look up a specific item
- Identify its group. Decide whether you are looking for equipment, a weapon part, a consumable, a key or special item, or a collectible.
- Check the list’s scope. Confirm its stated game version and whether Overture or Bonus Content is included.
- Read the individual entry. Verify the item’s effect, requirements, or location from the entry and the current in-game description; category membership alone does not confirm those details.
- For a weapon, check both parts. Confirm whether the entry is a blade, handle, complete ordinary weapon, or special weapon before acting on it.
