Dying Light 2: Stay Human is not shown as a Game Pass catalog title. Xbox does list it for purchase, and its store says purchase is required to play it through cloud gaming. That is separate from Xbox’s owned-game streaming feature, which named the game in a 2024 announcement for Game Pass Ultimate members who own it.
Is Dying Light 2 included in the Game Pass catalog?
The sources checked do not show Dying Light 2: Stay Human as included in the Game Pass catalog. Xbox’s Game Pass catalog can be filtered by subscription tier and platform, and Xbox cautions that availability can vary by time, region, plan, and platform. Check the catalog while signed in to see what is available for your own account.
Xbox’s October 7, 2026 Game Pass update does not mention the game. That update is not a statement about whether it might be added later.
Can you stream Dying Light 2 with Game Pass?
There are two different ways a game can be streamed through Xbox: cloud play for a game you have access to through a supported subscription or purchase, and streaming a game you own through the owned-game feature. Neither should be confused with inclusion in the Game Pass catalog.

Cloud play requires buying the game
The Xbox Store lists Dying Light 2 Stay Human – Ultimate Edition for Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S and says it is cloud playable with Game Pass Essential, Premium, or Ultimate, but explicitly states that game purchase is required. In other words, the cloud-play listing does not mean the game itself is included with those subscriptions. Confirm the edition and local availability on the Xbox Store page.
Owned-game streaming was announced for Ultimate members
In a November 20, 2024 Xbox Wire announcement, Xbox named Dying Light 2 Stay Human among select games that Game Pass Ultimate members could stream if they owned them. The announcement described streaming select owned games “beyond the Game Pass catalog.” This is a separate access route, not evidence that the title was part of the catalog. Check Xbox’s current owned-game streaming interface for present eligibility and supported platforms; the announcement records the feature and title list as of that date. Read the Xbox announcement.

Does Game Pass cover online multiplayer?
The Xbox Store says online multiplayer on console requires an eligible Game Pass subscription, sold separately. That requirement concerns multiplayer access; it does not mean the game is included in the subscription catalog.

Is Dying Light 2 coming to Game Pass soon?
No future arrival is established by the available Xbox announcements. The October 7, 2026 update does not announce the game, and its omission should not be read as a promise that the title will never be added. Check the live catalog and Xbox announcements for changes.
