LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight is an open-world action-adventure game built around Bruce Wayne’s journey to become Gotham’s hero. Warner Bros. Games, TT Games, DC, and the LEGO Group announced it on August 19, 2025. The initial platforms launched on May 22, 2026, and Nintendo Switch 2 followed on September 18, 2026. The official support FAQ lists it as available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC.
What is LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight?
It is a story-led action-adventure game that combines Batman’s crime-fighting world with TT Games’ LEGO humor. The campaign follows Bruce Wayne from his training with the League of Shadows through his rise as Batman and the formation of a crime-fighting family. The announcement framed the game as a celebration of Batman history across film, television, comics, and games, rather than an adaptation of a single film.
