Start The White Roebuck by speaking to Huntsman Dobresh Pecker in Suchdol, in the Kuttenberg region. Find the poachers’ camp northwest of Suchdol, take the roebuck hide from its chest, and collect three squirrel tails if you want the highest reported reward from the Huntsman. The Knacker pays less for the hide but ends the task immediately.

Reach the Kuttenberg region and speak with Huntsman Dobresh Pecker in Suchdol. PowerPyx lists completion of Main Quest 14, “Speak of the Devil,” as a prerequisite; Gamer Guides describes the task as available once you can move around Kuttenberg. The guides spell the huntsman’s name differently, as Dobresh and Dobrosh.

Should you ask the Knacker for information?
You can speak with the Knacker before heading out. His information narrows the search area for the poachers’ camp. Gamer Guides reports two ways to get the information: pass one of two medium speech checks or pay 200 Groschen. If you prefer not to spend money or risk a check, you can travel directly to the camp northwest of Suchdol.
Where to find the poachers’ camp and white roebuck hide
- Head northwest from Suchdol toward the poachers’ camp.
- Deal with the three poachers. The walkthroughs describe sneaking, stealth kills, or fighting them as possible approaches.
- Loot each poacher if you want the three squirrel tails—one from each—for the Huntsman’s higher reported reward.
- Search the camp chest for the white roebuck hide. The chest can be opened with a key taken from a poacher or with a Medium lockpick check. PowerPyx identifies the poacher Mach as carrying the key; Gamer Guides also describes a key-or-lockpick option.
The walkthroughs differ somewhat in their description of the chest’s exact spot, so look through the camp rather than relying on a more precise building location.

For the highest stated payout, keep the hide and tails and turn them in to the Huntsman. If you turn in the hide to the Knacker, you cannot then collect the Huntsman’s reward for the tails.
