What kind of game is KIBORG?
KIBORG’s Steam listing describes a rogue-lite beat ’em up from Sobaka Studio, released April 30, 2025. Its premise follows Morgan Lee, sentenced to 1,300 years in a prison where death does not end the sentence. Lee’s chance to escape is to win “The Last Ticket,” a reality-show-style contest.
In play, the focus is arena combat and improving the character with cybernetic implants and upgrades. That makes the central question less about whether the game has a conventional story-driven campaign and more about whether repeated fights and build experimentation stay engaging. Critics who respond to the combat loop and progression tend to find the strongest case for playing; those who want substantial enemy variety, narrative depth, or a more polished audiovisual presentation may be less persuaded.

The Steam listing specifies single-player and shared/split-screen co-op, full controller support, and Steam Deck Verified status for the Steam version. It also lists English and Russian interface, audio, and subtitles, plus interface and subtitle support for Japanese, Simplified Chinese, German, Korean, French, Spanish (Spain), Traditional Chinese, Polish, Brazilian Portuguese, and Turkish. Check the store page for the edition you intend to play rather than assuming these Steam details apply to every platform.
