To complete “A Cure for Hollow Joy” in Where Winds Meet, speak with Xiao the Healer near Crimson Cliff, find three vials at a bird’s nest, an enemy camp, and a bear-and-rock area, then return them to Xiao and claim the reward in the Wandering Tales menu.
Start the tale with Xiao the Healer
Head to Crimson Cliff in Qinghe, also identified in some guides as Moonveil Mountain. Look near the Crimson Cliff teleport and along the nearby cliff edge for Xiao the Healer, then speak with him to begin the Wandering Tale.

Find the three vials
The guides agree on the three landmarks, but their compass directions and vial labels vary. Use the landmarks and any quest markers rather than relying on a fixed direction or item order.
Bird’s nest on the cliffside
Search the nearby cliffside for a nest, including ledges with eggs. The nest is identified as the location of one vial, described in one guide as the Sour Vial.

Enemy camp
Search the camp around Crimson Cliff, checking jars and nearby camp props for a vial. Some walkthroughs advise clearing the enemies before searching; if the vial is not immediately visible, inspect the camp area closely.
Bear and rocks
Look for the wild bear and the nearby rocks or clearing. A vial is reported on or near a rock. One guide describes breaking rocks with a mystic skill, while others describe picking up the vial after dealing with the bear. Check the quest marker and inspect the rock formation if you do not see it.

- After collecting all three vials, return to Xiao the Healer near Crimson Cliff.
- Speak with Xiao and choose the Give interaction to hand over the vials and complete the tale.
- Open the Wandering Tales section and claim the completion reward. If the completion notification offers a View prompt, use it to open the relevant menu.
