LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight was revealed on August 19, 2025, at Gamescom Opening Night Live. It is now listed as available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2 and PC. The open-world action-adventure follows Bruce Wayne’s journey from training with the League of Shadows to becoming Gotham City’s hero.
What was revealed at Gamescom ONL?
Warner Bros. Games, TT Games, DC and the LEGO Group announced the game on August 19, 2025. TT Games develops it and Warner Bros. Games publishes it. The original story draws on Batman’s history across film, television, comics and games, retold with LEGO humor. The LEGO Group described that source history as spanning 86 years in its 2025 announcement.
Jonathan Smith, TT Games’ Strategic Director and Head of Development Team, described the aim as taking players on “Bruce Wayne’s epic journey to become the legendary hero of Gotham City,” incorporating iconic moments from Batman’s history with a LEGO twist. Read the LEGO Group’s announcement.

Four physical LEGO DC Batman sets have game-linked unlocks. These are optional collector products, not prerequisites for playing. Warner Bros.
