If a character on your account has completed the Maw introduction, Blizzard documented a way for alternate characters to skip it: speak with Highlord Darion Mograine in your faction capital and choose the skip if it is offered. The character is sent to Oribos. This skips the Maw opening sequence, not necessarily the full Shadowlands leveling campaign.
How to skip the Maw introduction

Log in to the alternate character you want to advance. Blizzard’s documented requirement is that another character on the account has already completed the Maw introduction.

Go to your faction capital and speak with Highlord Darion Mograine.

If the skip option is available in his dialogue, select it. Blizzard described the result as skipping the introduction; its later catch-up guidance says characters who use the skip go directly to Oribos.

Blizzard announced the option in its 9.1.5 Content Update Preview on October 26, 2021, and reiterated the Oribos destination in Into the Shadowlands: Catching up at 60 on November 4, 2021.
Does this skip the whole Shadowlands campaign?
No such conclusion follows from Blizzard’s Maw-intro instructions. The Maw introduction is the opening sequence; the Shadowlands leveling campaign and its Threads of Fate option are separate progression choices.

Threads of Fate was originally presented as an alternate leveling mode in Blizzard’s Level Anew with Threads of Fate announcement on November 10, 2020. That announcement describes the feature at the time, not whether it remains available now. In a February 13, 2026 Blizzard-hosted forum discussion, players quote support guidance that the Threads of Fate campaign skip is no longer available. The same discussion includes differing player experiences, so it is not a basis for promising that a character can bypass campaign progression or for recommending a workaround.

Check the character’s current quest state and follow the prompts shown in game. The Blizzard announcements document the account-completion prerequisite and the NPC, but do not establish every level, quest-progress, or character-state condition that might affect whether the dialogue appears. If the option is absent, the available evidence does not identify a single verified fix.
