Mountain Dew’s U.S. promotion with Doritos and Rockstar Energy Drink offered World of Warcraft items, Diablo IV cosmetics and Battle Pass Tier Skips. The campaign ran from November 4, 2024, through January 31, 2025, so its announced earning period has ended. Xbox’s announcement does not establish whether any old codes can still be redeemed.
What were the Diablo IV rewards?
Xbox listed five named rewards for Diablo IV, along with Battle Pass Tier Skips. The announcement did not state how many skips were available.
- Verdant Pool
- The Man Opener
- The Thirsting Bird
- The Savoring Glaive
- The Dueling Dervish
- Battle Pass Tier Skips; the number was not stated
These are the rewards named in Xbox’s October 25, 2024 announcement.
What were the World of Warcraft rewards?
The World of Warcraft list included two companions, two tabards, and two other named rewards:

How did the promotion work?
For the U.S. campaign, participants bought specially marked Mountain Dew, Rockstar Energy Drink, or Doritos products, entered the codes printed on or inside the packaging at DoritosDewRockstar.com, collected points, and redeemed points for rewards. Xbox’s announcement said codes could be found on Doritos packaging, under Rockstar drink tabs, and under Mountain Dew caps or inside paperboards.
Examples of the historical promotional products included Mountain Dew 20-ounce bottles and 12-packs; Diet Mountain Dew and Mountain Dew Zero packages; Game Fuel Citrus Cherry and Citrus Blackberry; two Rockstar Energy Recovery varieties; and three Doritos varieties. Mountain Dew Game Fuel Citrus Cherry and Citrus Blackberry were named as limited-time flavors associated with the World of Warcraft anniversary, while some Mountain Dew packaging featured Diablo IV: Vessel of Hatred. These examples describe the 2024–25 campaign, not current inventory or a promise that a product bought now earns points.

Can you still redeem a Mountain Dew promotion code?
The published campaign window ended January 31, 2025. Xbox’s announcement does not say whether codes bought during the promotion remain valid or whether the redemption site continues to accept them, so current redemption cannot be confirmed from that source. Blizzard Support has a search listing for “Can’t Claim Mountain Dew Promotion Code,” but the listing alone does not establish today’s code rules or guarantee that a particular code will work.

Xbox announced a separate Fanta collaboration on March 31, 2026, with its own challenges and rewards, including the World of Warcraft Waveshredder Mount and Diablo IV Citron Whirl Town Portal. That later campaign is distinct from the Mountain Dew promotion and does not reopen its earning period. See the separate Xbox and Fanta announcement for details.
