The game was delisted from sale on January 15, 2026, and Amazon Games has scheduled its servers to close on January 31, 2027. Players who already purchased it can continue playing until that shutdown, according to Amazon Games’ announcement.
How do I unlock bag slots in New World?
An official release note says, “Bag Slot #1 is now unlocked at level 10 instead of level 1.” That establishes a level-10 unlock for the first slot under the change described in that historical note; it does not establish the current schedule for every slot.
Do not infer the total number of slots, later unlock levels, or current carrying capacity from that single milestone. The cited release note does not provide those details. Its exact statement is available on the official New World release-notes page.

The database groups listed examples across tiers II through V and shows gear-score ranges for some entries. These names are useful for recognizing the item family, not a definitive list of bags currently obtainable or a ranking of the best choices. The New World Database bag listing does not, by itself, establish current recipes, drop sources, or live balance.
What are the best bags in New World?
The available item listing does not support naming a best bag for general inventory or a particular activity. A meaningful comparison would need current, verified values for carrying capacity, tier or gear score, perk combinations, acquisition method, and crafting cost. Those values can determine whether a bag suits a player’s needs, but they are not established here.

- Valentines Day
- 16” x 16” bag with two 14” long and 1” wide black cotton webbing strap handles.
- Made of a lightweight, spun polyester canvas-like fabric.
- All seams and stress points are double-stitched for durability, and the reinforced bottom flattens to fit more items and hold larger objects.
- Spot clean/dry clean only.
Before choosing or recommending a satchel, check its current in-game details and whether it can still be acquired. Treat older item names and tier listings as examples, not proof that an item remains obtainable or optimal after later game updates.
How do I get a better bag in New World?
There is no verified, current acquisition walkthrough for the listed bags in the sources cited here. They do not establish which satchels are crafted, dropped, rewarded, or otherwise available now, nor do they provide confirmed recipes or costs. Check the item’s live in-game description and current acquisition information rather than relying on an assumed crafting path based only on its name or tier.
