Pokémon Presents on 27 February 2026 showed a new video for Pokémon Pokopia. TechRadar’s recap of the broadcast reported three featured ideas: Stereo Rotom playing CDs, cooking taught by Greedent, and island visits for up to four players. The game has since launched, so these are presentation-era reveals—not unreleased features.
What Pokémon Presents revealed about Pokopia
The new Pokopia video was part of the broader Pokémon Day presentation. The official Pokémon Presents recap confirms that the video was shown, but its indexed text does not list these individual feature details. The descriptions below are therefore attributed to TechRadar’s 27 February 2026 broadcast recap, rather than presented as a feature-by-feature official summary.
Stereo Rotom plays CDs
TechRadar reported that the video introduced Stereo Rotom, a Rotom form associated with music playback, and said it can play CDs. The report does not establish which CDs are supported or whether the feature has requirements beyond what appeared in the presentation.
Greedent teaches cooking
According to TechRadar’s recap, Greedent—referred to there as “Chef Dente”—teaches cooking. The dishes were described as food for Pokémon or the player, with stat improvements also mentioned. Treat those mechanic details as reporting about the presentation, not as a guarantee that every element would remain unchanged in the final game.

What Pokopia is and when it launched
Pokémon Pokopia is a Nintendo Switch 2 simulation game released on 5 March 2026, according to Nintendo UK’s game listing. The Pokémon Company describes it as a cozy sandbox: you play as Ditto transformed to look human, restore a desolate land with Pokémon friends, gather resources such as wood and stone, make tools, share berries, and shape a world of your own.

The Pokémon Presents video was a preview, and the official broadcast description cautioned that some game content shown was under development and might not be final. That caveat matters when reading the February feature reports: a presentation can show planned ideas, while the released game or later updates may differ.
