Best Satisfactory Dedicated Server Hosting in 2026: 6 Hosts Ranked (VGSources)

Satisfactory factories never really stop: belts keep moving, trains keep running and the power grid needs watching even when the group logs off. A dedicated server keeps the save running for everyone; it exists only for the desktop version, and Steam and Epic players on PC can share one. The official Satisfactory wiki sets out what the server needs, and the hosts below meet those needs in very different ways, so this comparison measures each of them against the same official figures.

Quick facts

  • Godlike.Host: virtual servers in three sizes, 16, 20 and 32 GB, with Satisfactory installed and CPU and RAM held for each customer (listed 10 October 2026).
  • Kinetic Hosting: memory tiers from 4 GB upward on machines with Ryzen 9 9950X processors at the top end.
  • LOW.MS: slot plans that start with 10 GB, and Steam and Epic players on the same server.
  • Host Havoc: 4 to 28 player slots, offsite backups and 14 locations.
  • Indifferent Broccoli: uncapped RAM, with the price set by the number of players.
  • GPORTAL: prepaid rentals from 10 to 128 slots with 50 GB of backup space.

How we lined them up

On 10 October 2026 we read each host’s Satisfactory page as a US visitor and recorded the same facts for every one: memory in the entry plan, judged against the wiki’s guidance; the processor; player limits; backups; locations; refunds; and the standard monthly price. Every claim about a host comes from its own page. BisectHosting and Nitrado load their Satisfactory prices dynamically, out of reach of our page reads, and BerryByte does not state how much memory its starting price buys, so those three are not in the table.

What the wiki says a Satisfactory server needs

  • Memory: 8 GB as a community minimum, and 16 GB for larger saves or more than four players.
  • Processor: an Intel i5-3570, AMD Ryzen 5 3600 or newer, ideally with a single-thread rating of 2000 or higher. The server spawns many threads, but a developer quoted on the wiki explains that the game loop is single-threaded, so one core always works hardest.
  • Virtual machines: a VPS whose virtual CPU is the generic kvm64 type will not run the server, and there is no ARM or 32-bit build.
  • Ports: 7777 over TCP and UDP plus 8888 over TCP for reliable messaging, the pair required since patch 1.1.
  • Players: four by default; hosts and owners raise it through the MaxPlayers setting.

1. Godlike.Host: a 16 GB entry VPS with Satisfactory installed

Godlike.Host runs Satisfactory on virtual private servers that ship with the game already set up, according to the page it showed on 10 October 2026. Its smallest plan, Rocket, pairs four 3.4 GHz vCPU cores with a 16 GB memory allocation and 200 GB of NVMe; Supreme and Eternal step up to eight cores, carrying 20 GB and 32 GB respectively, with a 1 TB traffic allowance on each. Underneath is KVM virtualisation on AMD’s EPYC “Milan” generation, and Godlike says each server’s processor and memory allocation is guaranteed, with no overselling.

Day-to-day control (restart, reinstall, monitor) sits in a VirtFusion panel that needs no command line, and the page lists freedom to add mods and change game rules, DDoS protection, snapshots with restore points, IPv4 and IPv6 support and a 99.9% uptime figure. Measured against the wiki, the 16 GB entry plan already matches the memory it suggests for larger saves or groups of more than four.

Elebase USB to USB C Adapter for iPhone 18 Pro Max,USBC Car Charger Adapter
  • Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. Except for standard USB webcams (which use USB data only), they are not compatible with HDMI/DisplayPort cables, video-capable USB-C hubs, or docking stations with video output.
  • Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
  • Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
  • Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
  • 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.

One limit: the location answer on Godlike’s Satisfactory page points to a USA-East data center as its only location; players far from the US East Coast will feel the extra distance.

2. Kinetic Hosting: memory tiers from 4 GB on Ryzen 9 9950X hardware

Kinetic Hosting sells Satisfactory by memory: tiers run 4, 8, 10, 12 and 16 GB, then 21, 26 and 32 GB, up to 124 GB, with Ryzen 9 9950X processors (5.7 GHz) as the top hardware and NVMe drives throughout. Players are not capped, each server gets five backup slots and four-way server splitting, and support is handled by people rather than bots.

Refunds are open for any reason within a week of paying, or two weeks if Kinetic’s service was at fault. Its 4 GB tier is below the wiki’s 8 GB minimum, so the table shows the 8 GB tier instead.

One limit: the Satisfactory page itself lists no server locations.

3. LOW.MS: Steam and Epic players on one server

LOW.MS sells Satisfactory by the slot: the smallest tier is six slots carrying 10 GB, and the largest 64 slots. Its FAQ confirms that Steam and Epic Games players can join the same server, says it handles the ports and firewall rules that trip up home hosting, and notes that four players is the official default while most servers handle four to eight comfortably once the limit is raised.

5. Indifferent Broccoli: uncapped memory, priced per player

Indifferent Broccoli bills per player seat, one to sixteen, and never caps RAM, running servers on machines with at least 128 GB. Its page explains why: it says Satisfactory needs at least 12 GB to run smoothly and more for complex factories. A four-player plan matches the game’s default limit.

Regions cover the US West, Central and East, Europe, South Asia and Southeast Asia, and the panel adds mod support, full file access, Discord-bot controls, subuser accounts and bill splitting. A two-day free trial needs no card, and refunds stay open for seven days after that.

One limit: its FAQ still describes Satisfactory as being in Early Access, so check any version-specific advice on the page against the current release.

6. GPORTAL: prepaid rentals from 10 to 128 slots

GPORTAL rents Satisfactory servers on a prepaid model, with no subscription or contract, from 10 up to 128 slots. Each server comes online in under three minutes on NVMe hardware, keeps 50 GB of space for save and config backups, and is protected by Bulwark and Corero DDoS filtering. Three-day rentals exist for a test run, and 90-day periods for groups settling in for a long build.

Sizing a Satisfactory server

The wiki’s two memory figures are the place to start: 8 GB keeps a small save running, and 16 GB covers larger saves or more than four players. Factories grow in ways a player count does not capture, because every new production line, train network and belt bus adds work to the same simulation, so a group that plans to reach the late game should leave room above those numbers. Processor speed matters as much as memory: with one core carrying the game loop, a fast modern core does more for a megafactory than a long list of slower ones.

Raising the player limit

Satisfactory defaults to four players on a dedicated server. The wiki documents a launch option that writes the MaxPlayers value straight into the game’s configuration, for example setting it to eight, and hosts usually expose the same setting in their panels. LOW.MS’s FAQ adds a practical note: four to eight players run comfortably on most servers, and going beyond eight depends on how large and complex the factory is.

Bringing a save and claiming the server

A new dedicated server has to be claimed before it can start a game: in the main menu’s Server Manager, you add the server, give it a name and set an administrator password, then create a new session or upload an existing save. A player password is optional and is set from the same screen, under the setting the game calls player password protection. Players should join through the Server Manager rather than the regular join menu, which the wiki links to an “Encryption token missing” error.

Stable or Experimental, and keeping it updated

Satisfactory runs a stable branch and an experimental one, and the server must match the branch your players run. With SteamCMD, the official wiki adds -beta experimental to the usual download of app 1690800 to fetch the experimental build, and it warns in its FAQ that a world moved from an experimental server back to stable may not convert cleanly, so back the save up before switching.

Updates follow the install method. A server installed through the Steam client updates itself shortly after a patch is released, though it may need a restart or a file check. On SteamCMD, stop the server and rerun the same install command. To stop a server cleanly, the wiki suggests the Shutdown call of its HTTPS API, the quit command in the Server Manager’s console tab, or, on Linux, a SIGINT or systemctl stop for a service. On a hosted plan, check whether the panel applies game updates for you or leaves the timing to you.
