How big was Oblivion Remastered on Steam?
SteamDB charts showed a peak of 216,784 concurrent players, according to Gadgets 360’s April 28, 2025 report. That was up from a launch-period peak of 190,119 cited in the outlet’s April 24 report. Both numbers describe the highest number of people playing at the same time in those snapshots; they do not show total players or sales. Gadgets 360’s April 28 report and its April 24 report also recorded the game reaching Steam’s global Top Sellers chart during launch week. Those rankings and counts are historical, not a statement about Steam today.
How many players has the game reached overall?
Bethesda Game Studios said the game had passed 4 million players in its first week. The studio thanked players on April 25, 2025: “We are so grateful to the over 4 million of you that have already ventured into Cyrodiil with Oblivion Remastered. Thank you!” Gadgets 360 reproduced the statement in its April 28 coverage.
By July 28, 2025, Bethesda had confirmed more than 9 million players reached across platforms. That milestone is a player total, not a disclosed sales figure; it may include people who played through Game Pass. Gadgets 360 reported the announcement and noted that Bethesda had not disclosed unit sales.

What is Oblivion Remastered, and what does it include?
It is a remaster of the 2006 role-playing game The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, set in the province of Cyrodiil. The package includes the base game, the Shivering Isles and Knights of the Nine story expansions, and additional DLC such as the Horse Armor Pack. Launch coverage describes updated visuals, gameplay refinements, and quality-of-life improvements while retaining the original game’s core. The Steam product page, last updated October 2, 2026, lists the following PC requirements. Check the store page before installing in case its specifications change. Both tiers list 125GB of storage, but that requirement does not mean an SSD upgrade is necessary.
