No Black Friday 2026 discount for Escape from Tarkov is confirmed by the available official announcements. Steam showed a 25% discount on the Standard Edition, but that promotion was listed as ending October 8, 2026, and its displayed prices were in Swiss francs. Check your regional store before buying; that dated offer is not evidence of a current or upcoming Black Friday deal.
Is Escape from Tarkov on sale for Black Friday 2026?
There is no confirmed Black Friday 2026 offer in the available announcements. Battlestate Games has run a Black Friday promotion in the past, but its terms are historical and do not establish that a similar discount will return. The absence of a confirmed announcement is not proof that no later sale will be announced.
On October 8, 2026, Steam listed the Standard Edition at 25% off with the offer ending that day. The page displayed prices in CHF, so those prices apply to the store region shown and should not be treated as a universal price or a current deal. Check the Steam listing for availability and pricing in your region.
What were the previous Black Friday discounts?
A historical announcement on Battlestate Games’ official Telegram channel listed 25% off Standard, Left Behind, Prepare for Escape, Edge of Darkness Limited Edition, and upgrades. It also listed separate discounts on gift sets: 10% off two sets, 15% off three, and 20% off four. The announcement page does not display a year, so these figures describe a past promotion, not a 2026 offer or guaranteed future terms.

How to choose where to buy
The right storefront depends on where you want to launch the game and what edition you want. The evidence here does not establish a cross-platform transfer discount, so compare the live listing and edition contents rather than assuming one purchase will be discounted because you own the game elsewhere.
| Purchase route | What is established | What to check before paying |
|---|---|---|
| Steam | Steam showed a 25% Standard Edition promotion ending October 8, 2026; displayed prices were in CHF. Its listing also included Left Behind, Prepare for Escape, and Unheard bundles, as well as digital add-ons such as PVE Zone and TarCoin. | Battlestate Games | The historical Black Friday announcement listed several editions and upgrades, but it does not confirm a current discount. Official Telegram announcement | Whether a current offer is posted, which editions it covers, its end time, and the final price for your region. |
Do you need to buy Tarkov again on Steam?
According to GamesRadar’s 2025 report on Battlestate’s Steam Q&A, playing through Steam requires buying an edition on Steam. The report also says an existing Battlestate account can be linked and that players use the same servers regardless of purchase source. If you specifically want Steam launch and integration, budget for the Steam edition; owning a Battlestate-store copy alone does not remove that purchase requirement.
