The three pre-order rewards announced in 2020 are separate historical bonuses, not guaranteed contents of a Deluxe copy sold today.
What the Deluxe Edition includes
- The full game.
- Character Pass 1, which includes three character packs and nine playable characters in total.
- A Charlotte Katakuri Early Unlock bonus associated with the Character Pass.
Bandai Namco lists those items as the Deluxe Edition’s contents and identifies the edition as available physically and digitally. Bandai Namco’s official game page describes the pass as three packs, each containing three playable characters. Nintendo’s US Switch Character Pass listing independently confirms the nine-character total and Katakuri early unlock.

What “nine characters” means
The nine are playable characters across three packs in Character Pass 1—not nine separate passes. The packs are:
- Whole Cake Island
- Worst Generation
- Land of Wano
Each pack contains three playable characters. Katakuri is described as an early-unlock bonus; the official listings do not describe that bonus as an additional character on top of the pass’s nine.

- WHOLE MORE STORY – Experience the ONE PIECE story from the beginning of the series
- DELICIOUS MUSOU ACTION – Developed by KOEI TECMO GAMES, the masters of the musou action genre
- SWEET VICTORY – Take on a large number of enemies in huge battles from memorable moments of the anime
- ENVIRONMENTAL CRUMBS – Destroy buildings and other surrounding elements that get in your way to victory
Are the pre-order bonuses included?
Not as a guaranteed part of a current Deluxe Edition. In its January 20, 2020 announcement for digital pre-orders on Xbox One, Xbox Wire listed three pre-order rewards: the Dynasty Warriors Law Costume, Dynasty Warriors Hancock Costume, and Vinsmoke Brothers Early Unlock. The same announcement described Deluxe separately as the full game, Character Pass with nine characters, and Katakuri Early Unlock.
That announcement establishes what was offered with the original Xbox One pre-order; it does not establish that those rewards accompany current physical or digital stock, or copies on other platforms. Check the seller’s exact listing for the platform, edition, region, and stated DLC entitlements before buying.

Does Deluxe include all DLC?
No. The Deluxe Edition content described by Bandai Namco centers on Character Pass 1. The publisher lists Character Pass 2, additional episodes, and Character Pass 3 separately from that older Deluxe bundle. A Deluxe label alone should not be read as including every later release.
For current-generation context, Bandai Namco’s January 22, 2026 announcement says DLC 8, “Special Selection Pack,” is available individually or through Character Pass 3 and adds Eneru, King, and Z. The announcement also says the game is available on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2 via Upgrade Pack, with free upgrades for owners of the PS4, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox One versions. Those upgrade statements do not change what a particular Deluxe SKU includes; verify the version and entitlement details on the platform or seller listing. What to verify before purchasing
- Platform: Match the listing to your console and generation; do not assume the same SKU or upgrade terms across platforms.
- Edition and copy type: Confirm it is specifically Deluxe and whether the listing is for a physical or digital copy.
- Included entitlements: Look for explicit confirmation of Character Pass 1 and the Katakuri early unlock. Treat the 2020 pre-order rewards as unconfirmed unless the current listing names them.
- Later content: If you want Character Pass 2 or 3, additional episodes, or DLC 8, check whether each is included or sold separately for that SKU.
