Activate each Silo by interacting with its console to unlock a fast-travel location and reveal a clue to a nearby Vault Fragment. Most are close to their map markers; Deathright is the exception, with its console on the mountain north of the icon.
The Fadefields
The Stockroom — Coastal Bonescape
Find the Silo at the top of the enemy camp, near the fishing spot and northeast of the Abandoned Post Safehouse. Climb the steps and enter the facility to reach its console. PowerPyx and Gamer Guides describe the location and approach.

The Kit Hole — The Howl
The Silo sits on a hill. Follow the ascending route up the mountain from the Launchpad Faction area and cross the wooden bridge to reach it. PowerPyx and Gamer Guides provide route details.
Deep Seven — Dissected Plateau
Head to the northeast of the Fadefields, then go west toward a grapple point. Continue past the grates guarding the Silo. PowerPyx and Gamer Guides identify the approach.

Rustical Hurl — Grindstone of the Worthy
Look for the Silo at the base of rocks reached through a cave, or follow the paths toward the area’s highest point. The two guides describe these landmarks for locating it: PowerPyx and Gamer Guides.
Site Unseen — Tonnage Peel
Take the main road northwest through Camp Spinsquelch to reach the Silo. See route notes from PowerPyx and Gamer Guides.

Judgment’s Lapse — Ruined Sumplands
Starting from Carcadia Faction Town, drive to the top of the hill and head north across the gap. The location is listed as “Judgment’s Lapse” in Gamer Guides; PowerPyx spells it “Judgement’s Lapse.” PowerPyx and Gamer Guides show the route.
The Terminus Range
The Reliquary — Cuspid Climb
Near the entrance to Terminus Range, pass the Ripper camp near Hollowhome and climb the mountain to the Silo. The route is covered by PowerPyx and Gamer Guides.

Covered Charge — Cuspid Climb
Head around the mountain near the Silo icon, then leap across a gap to reach the facility. PowerPyx places it in Cuspid Climb; Gamer Guides describes it as between Cuspid Climb and the Low Leys. See both guides for landmarks: PowerPyx and Gamer Guides.
Deathright — The Low Leys
Do not follow the map icon as if it marked the console: it points to the balloon-release structure. From the icon, circle west around the mountainside, climb the wall, and jump across the cliffs to the console on the mountain to the north. PowerPyx and Gamer Guides call out this misleading marker.

What activating a Silo does
Use the terminal—typically at the highest point of the facility—to claim a Silo. Gamer Guides says clearing every enemy is not required. Once activated, the Silo becomes a fast-travel point and its surveillance balloon provides a clue to a nearby Vault Fragment. Vault Fragments are tied to opening the Primordial Vaults. PowerPyx also lists all nine Silos among the activity requirements for the “Ruler of Everything” trophy or achievement. Gamer Guides; PowerPyx.
Missable activities, campaign access, and shared progress
The location guides say Silos are not missable and can be completed in post-story free roam, though campaign progress gates access to some areas. There is a separate fast-travel restriction: Borderlands Support says a revealed location may still require campaign progress before it can be used. Borderlands Support.

Official support also includes Silos and map progress in Shared Character Progression. The feature can be disabled when creating a new save. In co-op, a joining player without save data does not inherit the host’s explored map, so don’t assume a host’s discovered locations have transferred to that player. Borderlands Support.
