Nintendo lists the standalone Switch 2 at AU$769.95 SRP in Australia, with several bundles and optional accessories also listed. Stock at Nintendo and other retailers can change; check each seller’s live listing for delivery or local pickup before buying.

Australian Switch 2 prices and configurations

Nintendo Australia’s hardware listings show these recommended retail prices (SRPs). They are not guarantees that a retailer has stock or sells at that price.

Configuration Nintendo Australia SRP Availability detail
Nintendo Switch 2 console AU$769.95 Standalone system.
Nintendo Switch 2 The Legend of Zelda 40th Anniversary Edition AU$799.95 The Nintendo Store Australia listing showed it out of stock when accessed on 8 October 2026; this does not establish stock at other retailers.
Nintendo Switch 2 + Nintendo Switch Sports Resort Bundle AU$814.95 Listed as available from 22 October 2026, while supplies last.
Nintendo Switch 2 + Mario Kart World Bundle AU$839.95 Limited-time production, while supplies last.

Compare the bundle’s total price and included game with the standalone console plus a separately purchased game. Confirm the specific bundle contents and current price on the seller’s page before ordering. Nintendo Australia’s hardware page lists the systems and bundles.

Where to check for stock in Australia

Nintendo advises buyers to contact their preferred retail store for physical-product information. Its Australian online store is another place to check, but its listing reflects only that store’s inventory at the time viewed—not the wider Australian market.

What the launch sales figure does—and does not—tell you

Nintendo said more than 3.5 million Switch 2 systems were sold worldwide in the first four days after launch, based on its internal sales data. That is historical global launch context from 2025, not evidence of current Australian scarcity or present-day retailer stock. Nintendo’s 2025 announcement also quoted Nintendo Australia Managing Director Takuro Horie saying the company was grateful for the response and hoped players would enjoy the new experiences. Neither the launch figure nor the statement indicates how many consoles are available in Australia now.
