Nioh 3 is an action RPG from Team NINJA and KOEI TECMO. What platforms is Nioh 3 on?
The game released February 6, 2026, on PlayStation 5 and Windows PC via Steam. KOEI TECMO Europe later described it as available worldwide on both platforms. The official US game page lists PS5 and PC; the Europe DLC announcement confirms worldwide availability on PS5 and Steam for PC.
How do Samurai and Ninja styles work?
You can switch between the two styles to suit a fight, or stick with one. The official description distinguishes them by combat pace, mobility, defense, and signature techniques; it does not provide quantified damage comparisons. KOEI TECMO’s style overview describes their features as follows:

Does Nioh 3 have co-op?
Yes. The official game page names two ways to play with others: Summon Visitor for assistance and Expeditions for exploring the open field together. The publisher’s January 2026 demo announcement specified online multiplayer for up to three players in the demo, but that is a demo-specific detail and does not establish the player cap or cross-play support for every mode in the full game. What is the story of Nioh 3?
You play as Tokugawa Takechiyo, poised to become shogun, as his younger brother Kunimatsu plots to overthrow him and yokai forces threaten the land. With the guardian spirit Kusanagi, Takechiyo travels through time. Publisher announcements identify several settings: Edo Castle and Tōtōmi in the Sengoku period, Kyoto in the Heian period, and content set in the Bakumatsu era. What was included in the Nioh 3 demo?
The publisher announced a demo covering early stages, with character creation, solo play, and online multiplayer for up to three players. Demo save data could be carried into the full game. The demo’s Twin-Snake Helmet reward required completion by February 15, 2026; that deadline has passed, so the announcement does not establish that the reward can still be claimed. The same launch announcement described a separate PS5 SteelBook edition containing the base game and two exclusive bonus DLCs.
