North Lomei is a three-stage quest in northeastern Hebra: cross the Surface maze, activate four terminals in the Sky Labyrinth and a fifth on its roof, then defeat a Flux Construct III in the Depths. The conventional surface route follows researchers’ nuts and acorns; in the Sky, tracked map markers and the updrafts make finding terminals easier. Bring a Paraglider, a way to handle the cold and fire to melt ice.
What to bring and where to find North Lomei
North Lomei sits in northeastern Hebra. The quest guide lists approximate coordinates -0798, 3534, 0235 and a Paraglider as a prerequisite. Prepare for the cold, and bring a fire-based option for the ice at the shrine entrance. Brightbloom Seeds can also help with visibility later in the Depths. (GameSpot; Zelda Dungeon; Gamer Guides)
How to cross the Surface maze
Follow the researchers’ trail
Enter from the west and follow the nuts and acorns left along the route toward the central chamber. If you lose the trail, a Sensor set to acorns or Ultrahand can help you locate it. When gloom blocks the ground route, toss a Hylian Pine Cone onto a fire to create an updraft, then paraglide over the affected area. (Zelda Dungeon; Gamer Guides)
Activate the shrine and surface terminal
In the central chamber, melt the ice blocking the Mayaotaki Shrine entrance and activate the shrine as a travel point. Completing the shrine is optional for quest progression. Activate the dragon-ring terminal opposite the shrine to begin the Sky stage. The grate over the North Lomei Chasm opens after the Sky stage is complete. (GameSpot; Zelda Dungeon)

How to reach the North Lomei Sky Labyrinth
The Sky structure is called North Lomei Castle Top Floor. Guides describe several ways to reach it; the best fit depends on your progress and available gear.
- From Pikida Stonegrove Skyview Tower: Gamer Guides describes travelling via floating platforms toward Taninoud Shrine, then using a floating piece of rubble and Ascend to reach the labyrinth. (Gamer Guides)
- From Typhlo Ruins Skyview Tower: GameSpot recommends gliding west to the Sky Labyrinth and tagging Tenbez Shrine for fast travel. (GameSpot)
- With a flying device: Zelda Dungeon describes flying from Taninoud Shrine as another approach. (Zelda Dungeon)
Once inside, activate the shrine or another convenient travel point and the entrance dragon-ring terminal. Track The North Lomei Prophecy in the quest menu so the four terminal markers appear on your map.

- Ultrahand: Using the new Ultrahand ability, Link can pick up, move, and rotate almost any object, and can even attach objects together to create bridges, vehicles, and more!
- Fuse: Magically fuse almost any object to Link’s current weapon, shield, or arrow to increase durability, damage, or even add a new effect. Experiment with lots of different combinations to come up with surprising—and sometimes hilarious—results!
- Ascend: Add a new dimension to your exploration with Ascend, which gives Link the ability to pass through solid objects above him. Rise up through ceilings, hillsides, and even certain enemies to create seemingly impossible shortcuts.
- Recall: Use Recall to make objects in motion move backward through time, letting Link ride fallen boulders skyward, recover thrown weapons, or send projectiles back where they came from.
How to activate all four Sky terminals
The Sky stage requires four terminals inside the maze and a fifth on the roof. Low gravity and persistent updrafts let you gain height without following every corridor at ground level.
Use the updraft-and-wall shortcut
- Ride the strong updraft near the entrance to gain altitude.
- Climb the red-decorated wall to its top.
- Check the tracked quest markers on your map, then drop toward a nearby terminal and activate it.
- Fast travel back to the shrine and repeat the climb and drop for the other marked terminals as needed.
This is the shortcut GameSpot describes; you can instead work through the maze while following the markers. Zelda Dungeon provides directions for the central dragon ring and north and east switches, but its retrieved south-switch directions are incomplete, so use the in-game markers rather than relying on a full written sequence. Descend safely and improve visibility
Dive through the opened route toward the orange-lit arena, then deploy the Paraglider to avoid hitting the walls or floor. Ikatoayam Lightroot is outside the arena and can improve visibility; Brightbloom Seeds are another way to light the area. (GameSpot; Zelda Dungeon)

Defeat the Flux Construct III
Use Ultrahand to grab the construct’s charged control block when it is exposed, then attack the block. Its form changes during the fight, so adjust your approach to the phase: GameSpot advises avoiding the rolling cube form and using an area-effect arrow, such as one fused with a Bomb Flower, when the construct floats. Zelda Dungeon also notes Ascend as an option when it becomes a floating platform. (GameSpot; Zelda Dungeon)
Claim the reward
After defeating the Flux Construct III, activate the final terminal and open the chest to obtain the Evil Spirit Greaves. (GameSpot; Zelda Dungeon)
