Her Mediblaster and Pulsar Torpedoes let her support allies while pressuring opponents; Hyper Ring helps teammates move through the map, and Orbital Ray supports a push. Blizzard’s Juno hero page lists her current abilities and mode-specific upgrades.
What kind of hero is Juno?
Blizzard classifies Juno as a Support hero. She is built to stay mobile while contributing both healing and damage, with tools for individual fights and coordinated team movement. Blizzard introduced her as the Martian Support hero in its Season 12 announcement; the announcement said she would be available to everyone at that season’s launch and playable in Competitive Play.

Her core kit has two weapons or targeting abilities that can affect allies and enemies, two movement tools for herself, a speed utility for allies, and an ultimate that supports teammates while threatening enemies. The ability names below follow Blizzard’s current hero page; balance values can change with patches.
How do Juno’s healing and damage abilities work?
Mediblaster: burst fire for healing or damage
Mediblaster is Juno’s burst-fire weapon. It heals allies and damages enemies, so using it well means choosing targets according to what the fight needs: sustain a teammate under pressure or add damage to an opponent. Blizzard describes the weapon as part of a kit that can support allies and damage foes at the same time.

Pulsar Torpedoes: lock on, then fire homing projectiles
Pulsar Torpedoes acquire targets before firing homing projectiles. The projectiles heal allies over time or damage enemies, making the ability useful when Juno needs to apply support or pressure across multiple targets rather than relying only on the Mediblaster’s burst fire.
Blizzard’s September 2026 patch notes reduced the minimum lock-on time for nearby targets from 0.5 seconds to 0.35 seconds. Blizzard said the adjustment makes close targets more reactive while preserving clearer differences by range. This is a dated balance change, not a guarantee that the timing will remain unchanged in later patches. See the September 2026 patch notes for the update.
How does Juno help her team move?
Hyper Ring: team speed through a placed ring
Hyper Ring deploys a ring that increases the movement speed of allies who pass through it. It is a team utility rather than a personal movement ability: use it to help teammates move into a fight or reposition. The speed effect applies to allies passing through the ring, so placement and timing matter.

In Blizzard’s June 2026 patch notes, the Wormhole minor perk changed Hyper Ring by increasing its deployment distance by 50%, reducing allies’ speed boost by 25%, and slowing enemies by 35%. Those figures describe that perk in that patch, not the base ability or an evergreen value. The June 2026 patch notes provide the dated details.
How does Juno move around the battlefield?
Glide Boost: horizontal glide
Glide Boost lets Juno glide horizontally with increased movement speed. It is her direct mobility option for shifting position through the air and changing where she can support the fight.
Martian Overboots: double jump and hover
Martian Overboots let Juno double jump and hover while airborne. Together with Glide Boost, they give her ways to adjust her position vertically and horizontally; these are personal movement tools, unlike Hyper Ring’s team speed effect.

What does Juno’s ultimate, Orbital Ray, do?
Orbital Ray sends a ray forward that heals allies and increases their damage. That makes it an ultimate for supporting a team push: teammates in its path can benefit from both healing and increased damage while it travels.
Blizzard’s June 2026 patch notes specified that Orbital Ray dealt 60 damage per second to enemies within range and traveled toward Juno instead of always moving forward. These are update-specific details from that patch, not timeless specifications. Check the June 2026 patch notes alongside Blizzard’s current hero page for live behavior.
What changed recently, and what is mode-specific?
The latest Juno-specific adjustments in the official notes referenced here are the September 2026 Pulsar Torpedoes lock-time change and the June 2026 Orbital Ray and Wormhole perk details. Treat patch figures as version-specific: Blizzard’s hero page is the better reference for the live core kit, while dated patch notes explain when a balance adjustment applied.

Blizzard lists Juno’s perks and Stadium Powers separately from her core abilities. They are mode-specific upgrades, not extra baseline abilities. For a match, check the hero page’s relevant mode and upgrade tier rather than assuming a perk effect applies in every mode.
