When were PAX West 2025 badges on sale?
Badges went on sale May 22, 2025, at 12 p.m. PDT. PAX West ran August 29 through September 1, 2025, at the Seattle Convention Center. The sale has passed, so these prices are useful as an archive of the original offer, not as a way to purchase admission now. The May 22 announcement provided the sale time and event dates.
How much did PAX West 2025 badges cost?
| Badge | Days or purpose | Original listed price |
|---|---|---|
| Four-day | All four event days | $255 |
| Saturday | Saturday, August 30 | $70 |
| Friday | Friday, August 29 | $68.50 |
| Sunday | Sunday, August 31 | $68.50 |
| Monday | Monday, September 1 | $66 |
| BYOC | Bring Your Own Computer | $50 |
The amounts are the historical listed prices reported in the announcement and July event update; the sources do not establish final checkout totals, taxes, fees, or availability at every point during the sale. The Outerhaven’s May 22 article reported Monday at $68.50 instead of $66; the announcement and July 24 update both give $66, so that is the figure shown here. The July 24 update repeated the listed badge prices.
For a historical comparison, the four-day badge cost more than any single-day badge, but the available figures alone do not establish which combination of individual days would have been the better value for a particular attendee. BYOC was listed separately; the sources do not specify additional badge-tier access or activities attached to it.

No. PAX West 2025 concluded on September 1, 2025. Be cautious of third-party listings for old badges. PAX’s current FAQ for PAX Unplugged—not a West-specific guarantee—discourages buying badges from third parties because authenticity cannot be guaranteed. It describes plastic construction and a holographic etching as checks for a resale badge. PAX Unplugged’s FAQ provides that general guidance.
