What did Act Four add?
Act Four became the next chapter in Path of Exile 2’s campaign. Xbox UK’s 2025 coverage says the act brings over 100 new monster varieties; that wording does not mean a verified count of wholly unique species. The official reveal also promoted new bosses as part of the update.
The reveal presented The Third Edict as a broader content update, not just a campaign chapter: it also announced balance changes, a new trade system and the Rise of the Abyssal league. Those are features described at launch, not a judgment about their current status or quality. The official reveal outlines the update.
