To permanently erase an account, submit a deletion request through Pokémon Support. If you mean starting on another device while keeping your progress, sign in with the account already linked to your save instead. Deletion is irreversible and removes purchases as well as other data.
Choose between deleting your account and recovering your save

Deleting the app, clearing app data, or switching devices is not an account-deletion method established by Pokémon Support. Reinstalling is only mentioned as a setup remedy for a particular save-sync problem, not as a way to erase an account.
How to request permanent account deletion
- Open Pokémon Support’s “How do I delete my Pokémon UNITE account?” article.
- Use the deletion-request link on that page and submit the request through the support process.
- Proceed only if you accept losing all account data and purchases permanently. Pokémon Support states: “Once your account is deleted, all your data will be deleted and it will not be possible to recover it. This includes any purchases you have made.”
The official article does not specify a deletion waiting period, whether the same login can be reused afterward, or an in-game sequence for deletion. Ask Pokémon Support if you need those details before submitting the request.
How to recover or move existing Pokémon UNITE progress
Pokémon UNITE saves data automatically, but retrieving that save depends on a login platform linked to it. On your new device, choose the same linked sign-in method you used with the existing save. Pokémon Support documents Nintendo Account or Pokémon Trainer Central for Switch and mobile continuity. Depending on the mobile devices involved, Google may also be available; Apple sign-in is an option when the new device is also iOS. Availability varies by device and platform.

Before starting a new game on the new device
Sign in with the linked account before creating new save data. Pokémon Support warns that beginning a new game without linking can make the existing data inaccessible on that device. For this setup problem, its documented remedy is to delete and reinstall the app, then begin setup again and sign in correctly. This resets the setup process; it does not delete the Pokémon UNITE account.
Check the effect of linking Pokémon Trainer Central
Pokémon Support says a Pokémon Trainer Central account currently cannot be unlinked once linked. Confirm that it is the account you intend to use before connecting it.

Facebook login is no longer supported
The Pokémon Company International announced that Facebook account support ended on September 30, 2026. Its announcement directed players to link Apple, Google, Pokémon Trainer Central, or Nintendo Account, then log out and sign in with the new method. Because the cutoff has passed, a player who can no longer sign in should contact Pokémon Support; reinstalling alone is not a documented way to restore Facebook access.

The Pokémon Company International’s notice that Pokémon UNITE service ended on November 30, 2025, applies to Belgium and the Netherlands, not globally. It is a regional termination notice, not evidence that service ended everywhere.
