When did Fidough Fetch run?
The Pokémon GO team scheduled Fidough Fetch from Friday, January 3, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. through Tuesday, January 7, 2025, at 10:00 p.m. PST. The official event announcement is the source for those dates and times.

How did the global challenges work?
Players worldwide worked toward Nice Throw milestones. Each completed challenge unlocked a bonus for the rest of the event, followed by the next challenge. The Pokémon GO team listed the reward levels and bonuses below; its announcement did not specify the Nice Throw thresholds.

Fidough and its evolution, Dachsbun, debuted when the global challenge reached level 2. The Pokémon GO team said, “You can use 50 Fidough Candy to evolve Fidough into Dachsbun.”

At challenge level 3, Hisuian Growlithe and Greavard were added as wild appearances. The announcement said a shiny encounter might be possible for listed species if lucky, and specifically highlighted increased shiny chances for Voltorb and Electrike. It did not publish a numerical shiny rate.

Task rewards were possibilities rather than guaranteed outcomes. The official announcement also said to look for event-themed Pokémon Showcases at different PokéStops. The reviewed event references do not establish individual Field Research reward odds.
