Triumphant Light is not Pokémon TCG Pocket’s next set: the expansion was announced on February 27, 2025, and released in the game on February 28, 2025. It was headlined by Arceus ex and introduced Link Abilities.
When did Triumphant Light release?
The Pokémon Company International announced Triumphant Light on February 27, 2025, with an in-game release scheduled for February 28. DeNA separately confirmed that Triumphant Light themed booster packs would be added that Friday. Those dates establish it as a past Pokémon TCG Pocket expansion, not an upcoming release. The Pokémon Company International’s announcement and DeNA’s announcement describe the release.
What was included in Triumphant Light?
Arceus ex and Link Abilities
Arceus ex was the expansion’s headline Pokémon, and Pokémon highlighted Link Abilities as a feature. The announcement also described Pokémon ex, Trainer cards, and immersive cards among the new additions.
More than 70 new cards
The Pokémon Company International said the expansion added over 70 new cards. That is the figure stated in its announcement; it does not establish a more exact card total.

Were Triumphant Light booster packs physical cards?
No physical Triumphant Light booster product is established by the release announcements. They describe themed booster packs and events within Pokémon TCG Pocket, the mobile game available on iOS and Android. Treat Triumphant Light as a digital game expansion, not a confirmed physical trading-card release.
What was the Pokémon Day booster event?
The Pokémon Company International also announced a Pokémon Day in-game event featuring no-cost booster packs guaranteed to contain rare cards. This was part of the game’s event announcement; it should not be confused with physical packs or an ongoing offer.

Was Triumphant Light first reported before its official announcement?
Yes. PokéBeach reported on February 25, 2025, that the name had appeared in a TikTok advertisement and that Arceus ex was expected to feature. That was early reporting. The Pokémon Company International’s February 27 announcement confirmed the expansion and its release date.

No. Its February 2025 announcement establishes when Triumphant Light arrived and what Pokémon highlighted, but it does not establish which Pokémon TCG Pocket set may be announced next in October 2026. A current release prediction would require a newer official announcement.
