To evolve Pawmo into Pawmot in Pokémon Scarlet or Pokémon Violet, send Pawmo out with Let’s Go, walk 1,000 steps with it outside its Poké Ball, then level it up. The evolution line is Pawmi → Pawmo → Pawmot; Pawmi evolves into Pawmo at level 18, while Pawmo’s evolution uses the walking requirement.
Steps to evolve Pawmo into Pawmot
- Send Pawmo out with Let’s Go. While exploring, use the Let’s Go feature to have Pawmo walk outside its Poké Ball. Nintendo describes Let’s Go as a way to send a Pokémon out while exploring, including for gathering items and Auto Battles: Nintendo’s Pokémon Violet page.
- Walk 1,000 steps with Pawmo out. Serebii’s Scarlet and Violet evolution reference specifies that Pawmo must walk 1,000 steps outside its Poké Ball “in one go” using Let’s Go.
- Level Pawmo up. After meeting the walking condition, make Pawmo gain a level. It should then evolve into Pawmot.
Where Pawmo fits in the evolution line
The Pokémon Company’s official Pokédex lists Pawmi as #0921, Pawmo as #0922, and Pawmot as #0923. Pawmi evolves into Pawmo at level 18; that is a separate step from Pawmo’s later evolution into Pawmot. Pawmi is Electric type, while Pawmo and Pawmot are Electric/Fighting types. What the Let’s Go requirement means
Let’s Go is the exploration feature that sends a Pokémon out to accompany you. For this evolution, Pawmo must be walking outside its Poké Ball for the stated 1,000-step condition; simply leveling it up without meeting that condition is not the method given by the cited evolution reference. The mechanic is available in Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet, released for Nintendo Switch on November 18, 2022; Nintendo’s Pokémon Violet listing confirms the platform and release date.
