Perfect Chroma Catalyst is a Tint in Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 that upgrades a weapon to level 33. Guides report several ways to obtain one, including boss rewards, a quest, and the final challenge in the Endless Tower; their lists differ, so check the routes against your own progress rather than relying on a single guide as a complete inventory.
What does Perfect Chroma Catalyst do?
The item description reproduced by the community wiki says it can be used at camp to upgrade weapons to level 33. It is a Tint used for that upgrade, not a general-purpose currency.

How to use it
- At camp, interact with the Curator and choose Upgrade Weapons, as described in Game8’s weapon upgrade and item guide.
- Select the weapon you want to upgrade and use the catalyst for the level-33 upgrade. Other upgrade levels may require resources that vary by weapon and level; Gamer Guides’ item entry notes that resource costs vary.
Gamer Guides says Curator access follows clearing Flying Waters. Game8 also says Expedition Flags can be used for weapon upgrades starting in Act III.
