What new ghosts did Phasmophobia add in the Winter update?
The three additions named in Kinetic Games’ Winter’s Jest v0.15.1.0 announcement are the Obambo, Gallu, and Dayan. The developer described the release as an update alongside the return of its annual winter event.
The announcement confirms the ghosts’ names, but does not give detailed descriptions of their special behavior. Treat behavior guides from other sources separately from the official release notes.

Difficulty can limit what evidence appears. The same community reference says Nightmare difficulty hides one of a ghost’s three evidence types, while Insanity allows one visible evidence type. Check the current in-game Journal when investigating, particularly if a later patch may have changed evidence.

Kinetic Games announced the return of Winter’s Jest and a limited-time Krampus ghost model on event maps. The first-week promotion offered double XP and money from investigations from December 16 through December 23, 2025, ending at 12 PM GMT. That bonus window has passed; the announcement does not establish that the event or Krampus model is currently available.

The update also included changes beyond the new ghosts, but those are separate from the headline addition. The official announcement’s core point was that the seasonal event launched alongside a game update.
