What the game is
Nintendo describes Pizza Tower as a fast-paced 2D platformer focused on movement, exploration, and score attack. Its store description follows Peppino Spaghetti as he sets out to destroy the titular tower to save his restaurant; players sometimes play as Gustavo. Nintendo categorizes it as action, pixel art, and platforming. These are the publisher’s descriptions, not independent gameplay testing.
Nintendo Switch release and features
Nintendo’s US store identifies the Switch release as a digital game published by Tour De Pizza. It lists the US release date as August 27, 2024. Nintendo Australia lists August 28, 2024, so the one-day difference reflects the regional store dates rather than a contradiction about the launch.

Digital and physical editions
Nintendo’s listing is for the digital game. Fangamer separately documents a physical Switch edition, with a standard edition that includes the game and case, a 9-by-12-inch foldout poster featuring art by Noah Hush, and two sticker sheets created by Kaori Takizawa.

Fangamer’s page also documents a Collector’s Edition option. In an official announcement dated May 6, 2025, Pizza Tower said that edition includes everything in the standard physical edition, a Peppino kitchen timer, an art booklet, “and more.” The announcement gave October 10, 2025 as the expected shipping date; that date is historical and is not a current delivery estimate. Fangamer’s product page showed an out-of-stock notice when checked, so availability, regional shipping, and current edition terms should be confirmed on the retailer’s page.
